Annual Meeting of Collaborative Research Center/Transregio FungiNet

We kindly invite all interested guests to actively participate in the FungiNet Annual Meeting & Symposium that will be held October 4th-5th, 2023.

The Collaborative Research Centre CRC Transregio 124 “Pathogenic fungi and their human host: Networks of interaction – FungiNet” is a network of scientists from Jena and Wuerzburg. The Consortium collaborates to better understand complex invasive mycoses by investigating the pathobiology of fungi, the response of the immune system as well as by applying systems biological approaches as a third dimension. At this meeting, doctoral and postdoctoral researchers of the Consortium will present their very latest research data.

This year's meeting will take place in the "Rosensäle“ in the heart of Jena. We are very pleased to welcome you for an interdisciplinary scientific exchange.

The participation is free of charge.

If you are working on human-pathogenic fungi or related fields, you are welcome to submit an abstract for a poster or a talk. The submitted abstracts will be evaluated by the scientific committee and you will be notified shortly whether your abstract has been accepted for presentation.

In recognition of scientific excellence, two poster prizes are offered by the FEMS journal microLife.
