InfectControl2020 Strategy Conference

The InfectControl 2020 consortium consists of more than fifty research institutes and industry partners, focusing its efforts on eastern Germany. It is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research in the program “Twenty20 – Partnership for Innovation”. The strategy conference serves as a platform for communication between experts from different scientific fields such as agriculture and veterinary medicine, mobility, climate and infrastructure, medical research and care as well as the public and patients. The goal is to find new concepts for the control of infectious diseases together.

We are happy to announce that Professor Johannes Krause (Max Planck Institute for the Science of Human History) will be giving the evening lecture of the conference and that Minister Wolfgang Tiefensee (thuringian ministry for economy, science and digital society) will take part in the panel discussion.
