JSMC Lecture: Good scientific practice

This module will cover the origin and content of currently applicable guidelines for good scientific practice of the German Research Foundation and the FSU, with reference to other (inter)national research organizations and learned societies. The content covers data privacy and storage, publication and peer review as well as procedures for addressing suspected misconduct, which will be illustrated with case studies of scientific misconduct. It is highly recommended that every doctoral student attend this module before their graduation.
